Nasceu em Lisboa em 1954.
Exerce actividade nas áreas Financeira e Imobiliária como Economista. Autodidacta. Foi Jornalista. Faz Poesia, Fotografia e Escultura.
Em 1970 começou a pintar aguarelas que vendia na Nazaré, Lagos e Albufeira. Recomeçou 3 décadas depois com a força de uma maturidade de ideias e vontade de exprimir o que lhe vai na mente, para que a memória nunca se apague e o tributo perdure... pela arte!
Em arte não há pressas... apenas a criatividade e a sua forma de ver as coisas e o Mundo espelhando um poema em palavras não ditas em tela.

He was born in Lisbon, in 1954.
Being an Economist he has always worked in the Finance and Estate areas. He is a self-taught man in both plastic and visual art.
He was a journalist and wrote for different newspapers.
He is a poet and also a photographer. He is also a sculptor.
In 1970 he started to paint watercolours wich he used to sell on the streets in Nazaré, Lagos and Albufeira. Hitchhiking he got rides to those places whose landscapes he painted.
In 2005 he painted watercolours, pastels, acrylics and oils and with the help of enthusiastic friends, who commissioned some works, he got strength, maturity and will to exprerss the ideas in his mind and soul. Never let the memory fade and carry on, that is his motto: love for art is everything!
Nowadays he tries to be in friendly terms with life, colour, emotion, surrounded by the tenderness of those who cherish him. His works reflect his message and his knowledge, they share experiences and emotion.
In Art there is no .......ust creativity and the way one looks at life and the World.
The words that are not written on his paintings are a poem.
